Senior Relationship Advisor
Neel joined Peak Financial in 2007 and has served many roles over the years. He currently oversees Peak’s technology platform and is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of internally used and client available technology is operative and effective. This role has involved the build out of the technological infrastructure of many major aspects of Peak’s investment research, trading, operations, financial planning, CRM, cyber-security and any other internal hardware and software packages. Neel is instrumental in all marketing initiatives, including Peak’s E-presence, client outreach, networking, and advertising collateral. He also serves as a relationship manager with the goal of developing and maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction.
Neel previously worked for Brown Brothers Harriman, the oldest and one of the largest private banks in the U.S. His duties included proper transaction settlement, safekeeping, and accurate reporting of firm assets. Neel served within BBH’s Global Service Model, which incorporates operational expertise, client service, local relationship management, and market intelligence using the company’s single Global Operating Platform. In this role, he assisted in developing tools for risk mitigation, incorporated straight-through processing (STP) and automation, consulted on industry best practices for back and middle office platforms, and integrated execution services including foreign exchange, dividend-processing, and securities lending.
Neel is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he double-majored in International Relations and Finance/Entrepreneurship. He also received his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Neel currently holds his Series 65 license and enjoys sports, traveling, hiking, and music.
